Caltra AI is a nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle tracking app designed to help users scan meals, barcodes, water, and supplements, estimate calories and macros, track daily goals, use AI nutrition tools, and interact with community features.

Caltra AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any nutrition, supplement, fitness, or AI-generated information provided by the app is for general informational purposes only.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, Caltra AI may collect the following types of information.

Account Information

When you create an account, sign in, or use community features, we may collect:

  • Apple Sign In identifier, if you use Apple Sign In
  • Account settings and preferences
  • Login and authentication information

If you use Apple Sign In and choose to hide your email address, Apple may provide us with a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.

Nutrition, Fitness, and Health-Related Information

Caltra AI may collect information you enter, scan, generate, or save in the app, including:

  • Meals, food logs, calories, macros, and nutrition targets
  • Barcode scan results and saved food products
  • Water intake logs
  • Supplement logs and supplement timing
  • Protein powder or supplement product information
  • Body profile information, such as height, weight, age, activity level, goals, and preferences
  • Progress, streaks, badges, and goal tracking data

This information may be considered sensitive or health-related depending on your location. You should only enter information you are comfortable storing and using within the app.

Photos, Camera, and Scan Data

When you use scanning features, Caltra AI may process:

  • Meal photos

  • Water scan images

  • Scan results generated by AI or nutrition databases

Photos and scan data may be processed on your device and/or sent to our backend services or third-party AI/image analysis providers to generate results. Caltra AI does not guarantee that scan results are always accurate.

AI Chat and AI Tool Data

When you use AI features, we may process:

  • Messages you send to the AI assistant
  • Nutrition, meal, supplement, goal, and profile context used to personalise responses
  • AI-generated responses
  • Feedback or corrections you provide to improve your experience

AI responses may be generated using third-party AI model providers. Information sent to AI services is used to provide the requested app functionality and may be processed according to those providers’ own terms and privacy practices.

Community and Social Features

Caltra AI does not replace professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. You should speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making major changes to your diet, supplement routine, training plan, or health-related behaviour.

If you have allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or supplement safety concerns, do not rely solely on Caltra AI.

5. How We Store Information

Information may be stored:

  • In Apple services such as iCloud or CloudKit, where enabled
  • On Caltra AI backend servers
  • With trusted service providers that help us operate the app

Deleting your account may remove access to saved meals, scans, logs, goals, community content, and subscription-linked app features. App Store subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple ID subscription settings.

11. Children’s Privacy

Caltra AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you are under the age required to use online services in your country, you should only use Caltra AI with permission from a parent or guardian.

Caltra AI may be operated from Australia and may use service providers located in other countries. This means your information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.
